Życzę powodzenia w użytkowaniu i niech służy.  Dziękuję za miłe słowa.

A tutaj macie wiadomość od nowej Właścicielki Canona:

"First I should start by saying how surprised I was upon learning that, out of the significant number of your followers I was the one to be picked as new owner for Canon. It was such a joy but, it came with a bit responsibility since, as the new owner of the camera, I was supposed to live up to expectations and offer Canon at least as many photographic adventures as you had previously done.
Following the news about winning the game on your blog, I have been waiting for the package, hoping it will arrive safely to Bucharest which did happen!
Canon reached my address after a bit of trouble with the courier  – it must have been quite a puzzling experience as he (Canon) was not used yet to the Balkans’ ways – a vibe which is quite present in this part of the world : ))
We (Canon and I) clicked from the very beginning, even if for a couple of days we were a bit “lost in translation” – he would only speak Polish, while my knowledge of this fascinating language – despite some constant efforts from my side – is quite limited.
Even so, Canon confessed he enjoyed very much his life in Poland and was happy to take pictures of landscapes and flowers; I promised him I would take him on a walk to some of my favorite places in Bucharest just to get acquainted and, in the near future, I would organize for him a short trip to the mountains where he could take pictures of some beautiful spots – maybe a bit different from what he was used to, but still interesting.
Our relationship became even closer once the charger that accompanied Canon was used for his batteries.
As promised when we two met, I took him for a walk to some of the places I liked in Bucharest, so he got to know me a bit : )) at the end of the day spent together wandering in old city center, a bookstore and one of the biggest parks we both decided that we would be friends forever and even if I was quite clumsy he would definitely offer his constant (and automatic) support : )
P.S. Canon has asked me to let you know that even if he is so far away from his home country and he needs some time to fully adjust, his new life seems pretty exciting!

[1841 – a door I like for no specific reason, maybe just because it is old and I have never been able to figure out was is there behind it; I have been “visiting” it for the past 23 years, everything changed on the street where it is, except for that door – always locked, by the way
1843 – a bit of the interior yard of the Stavropoleos Orthodox Monastery
1844 – a creepy bit of a stone sculpture from the above mentioned monastery, I haven’t noticed it until today, even if it has been there for many years"
